Multi-faceted Simbu

Having established himself as a good storywriter in Manmadhan, Silambarasan is now rendering his voice for a song in the movie Yuga.
The movie being directed by Yar Kannan, stars Richard and Manikandan in the lead role. The highlight of Yuga is that a total of 50 dancers in Tamil filmdom are coming together to produce the movie.
Manmadharasa fame Dheena is scoring music for the movie. Silambarasan has rendered a song in Dheena's music for Yuga. The song Allakka Oramkattu was recorded at AVM Studios recently.
Silambarasan's involvement in the film "Manmadhan" other than story and screen play is obvious in the audio too. He has lent his voice for two songs, helped in additional rhythm programming and supporting vocals.
One song in which 500 schoolchildren have participated was shot in Silambarasan’s alma mater Santhome High School. Brinda is the dance choreographer and Simbu and Sandhya have also worked in this song. Meanwhile, Manmadhan which has been a hit in Tamil will be remade in Telugu. Kari Vijayabhaskara Reddy is the producer.

Simbu - Manmathan

One of the most promising youngsters in Tamil cinema is Silambarasan, or Simbu as he is widely known. Having acted in his father T Rajendar's films even as a toddler, Simbu can be described as a veteran though he is only in his early 20s.
As an adult, his first few films did not set the box office on fire, but his last release Manmadhan (based on a story by Simbu himself) was both critically and commercially appreciated.
Manmadhan starred Jyotika and Sindhu Dhulani. It also included Mandira Bedi in a cameo, and Yana Gupta in an item number.
